Bio

To all who value freedom,

Many years ago I was fresh out of college and eager to take on the world. Naturally, I thought I had it all figured out. But as many have learned, life can throw some wicked curveballs.

Unforeseen events prompted me to independently study history, economics, and politics, and even to this very day, to continually question and refine my own worldview. Unpopular and uncomfortable truths revealed themselves along my journey, but these challenges only served to strengthen my understanding. And one ackowledgment was everpresent; that freedom is good, and that it's only freedom if it is for everybody. If you truly share this ideal, we will have more in common than not.

Today, I am just an "average joe". I am a program manager for Amazon Robotics (yes, we make cool stuff) in North Reading, Massachusetts, where I am primarily responsible for international trade matters such as importing and exporting. My beautiful wife and I reside in the town of Derry, enjoying the natural blessings of life in New England.

When I accepted my current job in 2014, we were living in my birth state of Connecticut. I became a member of the Free State Project and resolved to relocate to New Hampshire; noting the opportunity to reside in the state with the most freedom and to further the cause of Liberty. The move has not disappointed and I am proud to call the Granite State my home. Live free or die!

As a member of the 115th United States Congress, I pledge that every action on behalf of the 1st District of New Hampshire shall be taken with the purpose of reducing government and expanding Liberty, and shall be harmonious with the Constitution. I bring with me a bachelors degree in business administration from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio attained in 2001. Though I have no experience serving in government thus far, I do know what it is like to be dependent on unemployment benefits; I know what it is like to have to take a job waiting tables despite my college education; and I know what it is like to live in a home with an upside-down mortgage.

The systematic compounding of government authority and extinguishing of natural human rights has caused and exacerbated these symptoms of a gradual decline into despotism, and it must stop.

I welcome your support and look forward to making strides toward peace and prosperity among these United States.

In Liberty,

Robert
